You are responsible for ensuring that you are legally permitted to enter into any transaction you request.
3. Financial Transactions and Additional Terms
These Terms govern the use of our general website and digital Services.
Individual financial transactions may be governed by separate agreements and disclosures.
Nothing in these Terms replaces or modifies any transaction-specific contract, loan agreement, credit-services agreement, fee disclosure, privacy notice, receipt, money-transfer agreement, prepaid-card agreement, provider agreement, or legally required consumer disclosure.
Where transaction-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the transaction-specific terms will control for that transaction.
4. Check Cashing
A1 Check Cashers may require verification of a check, the check maker, customer identity, endorsement, account information, supporting documentation, or other transaction information before completing a check-cashing transaction.
Submission or presentation of a check does not guarantee acceptance.
A1 Check Cashers may decline, delay, or request additional information concerning a transaction where permitted by applicable law.
Applicable fees and transaction conditions may vary based on the check, amount, location, transaction, or other applicable factors.
5. Online Check Verification and Pre-Verification
Our website, mobile application, or customer portal may allow customers to submit check information, photographs, or supporting documentation before visiting a store.
Submitting a check for online review does not constitute final acceptance or a guarantee that the check will be cashed.
Even when a check receives an online preliminary approval or verification status, final processing may require presentation of the original check, valid identification, customer identity verification, check-maker verification, additional documents or information, and final review at an A1 Check Cashers location.
A preliminary digital decision may be changed where new information, verification results, suspected fraud, legal requirements, or other material circumstances arise.
6. Identification and Verification
To protect our customers, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable requirements, we may request information necessary to verify identity or a transaction.
Depending on the service, this may include government-issued identification, photographs, check information, transaction information, contact information, or supporting documentation.
Providing requested information does not guarantee that a transaction will be approved or completed.
7. Fraudulent, Altered, or Unauthorized Transactions
You may not knowingly submit or use forged or altered checks or documents, stolen financial instruments, fraudulent identification, false customer information, documents you are not authorized to use, or transactions intended to deceive A1 Check Cashers or another party.
We may take reasonable steps to investigate suspected fraudulent or unauthorized activity and may restrict access to our Services where appropriate.
Information may be preserved or disclosed where required or permitted by applicable law.
8. Fees, Rates, and Transaction Limits
Fees, rates, transaction limits, and other financial terms may vary depending on the service, provider, location, transaction amount, or applicable legal requirements.
Where required, applicable financial terms will be provided through transaction-specific disclosures, agreements, receipts, or other notices.
Information appearing generally on our website should not be interpreted as replacing transaction-specific pricing or legally required disclosures.
9. Loans and Credit-Related Services
Loan and credit-related products are subject to separate eligibility requirements, applications, agreements, disclosures, rates, fees, repayment terms, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
Where A1 Check Cashers assists a customer in obtaining credit from an independent third-party lender, the lender and A1 Check Cashers may have different roles in the transaction, and separate agreements may apply.
The terms provided with a particular credit transaction control over these general website Terms with respect to that transaction.
10. Money Transfers
Money-transfer services may be provided through third-party providers and may be subject to the provider's separate terms and conditions.
Identification requirements, fees, transaction limits, availability, processing, cancellation rights, refund rights, and other conditions may depend upon the provider and transaction.
Customers should review the applicable provider disclosures before completing a transfer.

Money-order services may be issued or processed through third-party providers.
Separate provider rules may apply to purchase, replacement, refund, cancellation, loss, theft, or claims involving a money order.

Processing times may vary.

Prepaid-card products may be issued and administered by third-party financial institutions or program managers.
Cardholder agreements, fees, limits, dispute procedures, and other terms supplied with the applicable prepaid-card product govern use of that product.
14. Third-Party Financial Services
A1 Check Cashers may make third-party products or services available to customers.
The applicable third party may establish its own eligibility requirements, transaction rules, disclosures, privacy practices, fees, warranties, and terms.
Customers should review those terms before completing the applicable transaction.

20. Privacy
Our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information is addressed in our Privacy Policy and any additional financial privacy notices that may apply.
Please review the applicable privacy notices before providing personal or financial information.
Nothing in these Terms replaces any privacy notice required in connection with a particular financial product or transaction.

24. Third-Party Websites and Content
Our Services may link to websites, applications, products, or services operated by third parties.
A1 Check Cashers does not control the independent content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices of third-party services.
Your interactions with a third party may be governed by your agreement with that third party.
Customers should review applicable third-party terms and privacy policies before using those services.
25. Accuracy of Website Information
We attempt to keep information on our website current and accurate.
However, service descriptions, store hours, availability, fees, features, locations, and other information may change.
Transaction-specific disclosures and agreements provided at the time of a transaction control where they differ from general informational content on the website.
26. Service Availability
We do not guarantee that our website, mobile application, portals, or other digital Services will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.
Availability may also be affected by internet providers, third-party providers, technical failures, maintenance, emergencies, governmental actions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
27. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or restrict access to digital Services where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, misuse, security concerns, violation of these Terms, legal or regulatory requirements, or risks to A1 Check Cashers, its customers, or third parties.
Provisions that by their nature should continue following termination will survive termination
28. Territorial Availability
A1 Check Cashers Services are offered only in jurisdictions where the applicable service is available and lawfully offered.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR GENERAL DIGITAL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE WEBSITE, MOBILE APPLICATION, OR OTHER DIGITAL SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
NOTHING IN THIS SECTION DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES, CUSTOMER RIGHTS, OR OBLIGATIONS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.
30. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, A1 CHECK CASHERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING SOLELY FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE ITS GENERAL WEBSITE OR DIGITAL SERVICES.
THIS PROVISION DOES NOT EXCLUDE OR LIMIT LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.
Transaction-specific agreements may contain additional provisions applicable to a particular financial product or service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses resulting from your unlawful use of the Services, intentional violation of these Terms, fraud, or infringement of another person's rights.
Nothing in this provision limits rights or protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
32. Changes to the Services or These Terms
We may modify our digital Services or update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, operations, technologies, legal requirements, regulatory requirements, or business practices.
Updated Terms will be posted with a revised Effective Date.
Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a change, we will provide it as required.
33. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law is required to apply.
Financial products and transactions may also be governed by additional federal, Texas, local, or transaction-specific requirements.
34. Dispute Resolution
Questions or disputes concerning a particular financial transaction should first be handled according to the dispute, error-resolution, complaint, or other procedures contained in the applicable transaction agreement or disclosure.
Nothing in these general Terms modifies dispute-resolution rights or procedures established by a separate financial-services agreement or by applicable law.
Any arbitration agreement, jury-trial waiver, class-action waiver, venue selection, or similar dispute-resolution provision separately applicable to a particular financial product or service will be governed by the applicable agreement.
35. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the extent permitted by law or severed where necessary without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
36. No Waiver
Failure by A1 Check Cashers to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or the right to enforce it later.
37. Force Majeure
To the extent permitted by applicable law, A1 Check Cashers will not be responsible for delays or failures involving its general digital Services resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including natural disasters, governmental actions, telecommunications failures, utility outages, internet interruptions, labor disruptions, emergencies, or failures of independent service providers.

These Terms constitute the general agreement concerning use of the A1 Check Cashers website and digital Services.
They do not replace any separate financial-services contract, loan or credit agreement, credit-services agreement, privacy notice, required consumer disclosure, receipt, fee disclosure, prepaid-card/cardholder agreement, money-transfer agreement, money-order agreement, third-party provider agreement, or other transaction-specific terms.
Any applicable transaction-specific agreement will govern the applicable financial transaction as provided in that agreement.
